This is a post during a hurricane.
Yes, I just sang that line above to the tune of that Bob Dylan song.
Why? As of right now, I am listening to my generator hum due to the power being out. Yay for generators!
But seriously, I hope everyone in the path of Helene is staying safe. Our area has gotten its ass kicked and the flooding is bad. Really bad. But lucky for us, we’re up on the mountain and doing fine. Hallelujah!
And hurricanes be damned, I’m sharing books!
Enjoy!
And now for the drabble!
Cheers!

In A Snap
By
Jake Bible
Time flew back in a snap.
Literally.
“Joseph?” Maggie called. “Did you open a portal to medieval Europe?”
“Is that when this is?” Joseph replied from where he was standing at the kitchen sink, looking through the window and out onto what appeared to be a tournament of some sort. “Cool.”
“Not cool,” Maggie said. “They have swords. We don’t.”
“Yeah, but I have a bear horn,” Joseph said and patted the canister on his belt. “Can't wait to see how they react to this.”
“This is not a good use of your powers, Joseph.”
“But it sure is fun.”
