And here we are again, another Friday is upon us! Huzzah!
Huzzah, indeed…
So, how y’all doing? Working on something cool? Liking something new?
I’ve got some cool news, but it’ll be a couple weeks before I can announce it. Y’all should dig it!
And that’s really all I got for tonight. How about you just enjoy 100 words of free microfiction?
Cheers!

Jake Bible
Ten people. Ten mouths. Ten smiles.
Miller didn’t trust a single one of the bastards.
“It’s very simple,” one of the smiles said, “you give us the amulet and we let you and your friend here live.”
Miller looked over at the woman strapped to the altar.
“Uh…I don’t know her,” Miller said.
“Of course you do,” the smile said.
“No. I don’t.”
“This is Marianne McKenzie, your true love,” the smile insisted.
“My name’s Maria Mercuso,” the woman said. “Do I look like a Marianne McKenzie?”
“She really doesn’t,” Miller added.
“Well,” the first smile said. “That’s unfortunate.”
