Howdy!
Ok, so I got to go to PAX East 2025 this year. What a blast!
I worked the VCTV booth, handing out Doots masks and chatting people up on the AWESOMENESS that is VCTV!
What’s VCTV? It’s awesome!
No, seriously. It is live, animated, interactive TV. I shit you not. The channel streams on Twitch, and the audience can interact in the chat. The shows range from a word scramble to a Fantasy RPG choose-your-own-adventure, to a game show hosted by Ted where Ted talks about Ted then asks questions about Ted, to an interdimensional trucker dishing out life advice, and so many more!
Shows range from 5 minutes to 25 minutes and every episode is different, every single time. A lot of human creativity and labor went into building this puppy. People from Conan O’Brien, from Adult Swim, and guys like me. PEOPLE!, y’all!
The best thing is, there’s royalty tracking for all contributors. The creatives get paid!
My role is going to be creative and business development. I’ll be making shows as well as getting advertisers and sponsors for each show and the channel as a whole. It’s gonna be a blast!

“Escargot.”
“Yeah, I know what the dish is. I didn’t order it.”
“A gift from the gentleman in the corner.”
“Tell him thanks, but I don’t eat snails.”
“Escargot.”
“I know, but—.”
“Madame, it would be rude to send them back.”
“I don’t want them.”
“Understood, madame. But the gentleman is in a…certain line of business.”
“A crook?”
“Of course not, madame. A businessman. With…connections.”
“Mob?”
“I couldn’t say.”
“Yeah. Mob. He's going to kill me if I send back the snails, right?”
“Most likely, madame.”
“Nice place you run here.”
“Thank you. We try.”
