The crying wouldn’t stop.

No matter what I tried, the crying wouldn’t stop.

It.

Would.

Not.

Stop.

Soothing music? Nope.

Streaming cartoons? Nope.

Baskets of candy? Nope.

Toys? Games? Books?

Nope. Nope. Nope.

The crying wouldn’t stop.

“Do you want me to leave? Is that it?” I screamed one night.

The crying stopped.

For an hour.

Then it started back up again.

The next day I moved out of the treehouse. 

It sucked, but I had to get away from the crying.

Now I have to find a place to rent that I can afford.

But in this market?

Nope.
