Not Today, Satan

“So, when is Satan welcome?” Nina asked the cashier, pointing at the plastic sign on the register as she plopped a pile of road snacks on the counter.

The already-bored-with-Nina cashier responded, “Never”, as she rang up the mound of bad life choices.

“Doesn’t seem very Christian,” Nina replied. “Aren’t you supposed to love everyone?”

“Not Satan.”

“Really?” Nina turned toward the convertible sports car waiting outside. “Hey, Dad! This chick thinks you don’t deserve love!”

The cashier glanced outside and blanched.

Nina grinned.

“He has to have a convertible because of the horns.”
