The pen hated its job. It truly did.
Hovering above the line, it shook in the poor sucker’s hand.
“I’m not so sure about this…”
“Oh, don’t you worry. Just sign and you’ll get everything you’ve ever wanted. And more.”
The pen had heard that line before. A trillion times before.
“Just sign. You know it’s the right thing to do.”
The hand holding the pen continued to shake. Then it lowered.
The pen was ready.
“Ow! What the hell? The pen stabbed me!”
“You didn’t think you could sign in ink, did you?”
The pen really hated its job…
