Bad Living

Capillaries.

Those little blood vessels close to the surface of the skin. The ones you “break” when you break a blood vessel.

Capillaries.

They go all haywire if you drink too much. 

Like Uncle Hal’s nose. That guy puts back the beers and his nose has paid the price. A grotesque roadmap of bad living in the middle of his face.

Know what else is in the middle of his face?

My boot. Pressing down harder and harder until that nose is nothing but pulp.

Lesson? Never borrow money from me or you find out just how important capillaries are.
