Howdy!
I am currently at Folly Beach with the Fam. First time in YEARS we’ve all been on vacation together. I would hold down the fort because of doggos (kenneling is EXPENSIVE). With our last pup passing this spring, I get to go along and enjoy some family fun time. Excellent!
Now, while I’m gone, I have an assignment for all my loyal readers.
I need some review love.
I hate to ask, and rarely do, but A Fistful of Mechs currently has one review. And it’s a doozy. The Fighting Iron relaunch could use a little positive vibes. So, if you are so inclined, please head over and give it an honest review. I’d appreciate it.
Oh, and if you haven’t purchased it yet, well, get on that shit. $.99 is a pretty good deal.
Now, on with the 100 words of micro-fiction!
Cheers!

Already Late
By
Jake Bible
The printer wheels churned the paper from its tight spool, out onto the floor in a folded, crinkled mess.
Azmogorth could give a shit.
He’d been stuck in Data & Faucet Drip Assessment for close to seventy million years, give or take a millennia.
The mess was routine.
“Az!”
Shit…
“Grythnolor…”
“Great news! You’re being promoted!”
“Why? Where?”
“The where is the Pits of Wasted Tears. The why is because your work is impeccable.”
“Oh…”
“Exactly. No mistakes means you’re comfortable. Can’t have that.”
“The Pits of Wasted Tears?”
“Starting on Monday.”
“Today is Monday.”
“Then you’re already late. Great job!”
