Welcome back to another round of drabble goodness!
I hope your week has been wonderful! And if not wonderful, hopefully, it was at least tolerable. And if not tolerable then I hope you have bail money.
Per usual, I am sharing some other authors’ books because sharing is caring and caring is swearing and books are fuck yeah! (It makes sense in my head and that’s all that matters!)
Have a read!
Enjoy them books!
And don’t forget the great stories I’m doing for Dr. NoSleep Studios!
I update this playlist weekly, so be sure to check it out even if you think you’ve heard them all (you haven’t).
Now, on with the free microfiction!
Cheers!

Equal Measure
By
Jake Bible
The empty revolver lay on the floor like an unwanted guest while a dim bulb hung on a wire above and lazily swung back and forth.
Corben, his hands to his belly, blood seeping from between his fingers, rested his back against the wall.
Mankin, his breath coming in short, shallow gasps, lay on the floor on the opposite side of the room. The two gunshot wounds to his chest leaked blood and air in equal measure.
He stared up at the bulb.
“Lucky…shots,” Mankin whispered.
“If you say so,” Corben replied. “Doesn’t really matter now.”
“I guess not.”
