Well, hello there!

Nice to see you. Seriously. No shade. I’m glad you could make it.

Why? Because I have something very cool to tell y’all about!

I used to have a day job. Then I was laid off in January because morons run this world. Greedy, short-sighted, morons.

Anyway, this has pushed me back into writing full time and I found a few freelance gigs to pay the bills. One of those gigs is writing stories for the Scary Stories by Dr. NoSleep podcast. And I’m having a blast!

The jungle teemed with life.

Morganfried stared at the idol. It was exquisite.

Carved from pure onyx, it sat on a stone pedestal covered in vines and bird shit.

“Do not even think it,” Morganfried said as his assistant reached out to touch the idol. “The curse is not something to mess around with.”

The assistant rolled his eyes. He did that a lot with the old adventurer.

“Let me consult my notes,” Morganfried said as he flipped through a tattered journal. “Ah. A sacrifice is to be made.”

Morganfried’s eyes turned to his assistant. The assistant frowned.

Then ran.
