Hello!
Time for your microfiction fix, you little junkies, you. It’s all good. If you’re gonna have an addiction, then why can’t it be 100 word stories released weekly for free? I say embrace the craving!
[Note: This in no way belittles actual addiction. That shit sucks.]
Not that you need reminding, but for the new folks, I have created a playlist on Spotify with all of the fiction I’ve written for the Scary Horror Stories by Dr. NoSleep podcast. Check it out!
Dig the scary!
Now, how about we get to that microfiction before you grind your teeth to nubs, huh? Enjoy!
Cheers!

Small And Far Away
By
Jake Bible
Small people file by, their tiny limbs swinging back and forth in rhythm with their little steps.
“Are they real?” Candy asks.
“I see them,” I reply, my eyes locked onto the minuscule figures who seem to be making some epic trek from our kitchen closet and out to the dining room. “Do you see them?”
“I see them,” Candy answers, her voice small and far away.
Which is exactly how my mind feels at this moment. Small and far away.
“What do we do?” Candy asks.
I shrug. She accepts that answer.
I mean, what other answer is there?
