Howdy, y’all!
So the trigger has been pulled! The new name is official: “Brain Squeezins”!
Feels funky returning to this name. It’s how my writing career started out. Bringing back some crazy memories, that’s for sure. It’s also funny that I am getting back into audio fiction at the same time. That’s some full circle shit right there.
It’ll be a while before anything is released, but I’m working hard at getting the first season of this project done. I’ll give more details later. Be patient. Trust me. You’ll dig.
For now, kick back, relax, and enjoy some free micro-fiction.
Cheers!

So Much Scuttling
By

The car crept closer, the crunching gravel beneath the tires like gunshots in the night.
“I don’t see any…,” Melissa said. “Wait…”
“I see it,” Diego responded, seeing movement off to the side of the dilapidated bungalow. “Juvenile.”
“Or small female protecting her brood,” Melissa countered.
“No…it’s a juvenile.”
“Still dangerous.”
“Probably on its own.”
“Or part of a brood.”
“We need shelter.”
“We need to live.”
“Shit…” Diego put the car in reverse, checked the rearview mirror, and hit the brakes. “No….”
Melissa turned and gasped.
All she could see in the gloom was scuttling.
So much scuttling.
