Hello, Partiers!
Is that what I should call y’all? Partiers? Hmmm…
Glad you folks could make it back for another round of super-groovy micro-fiction. I believe you’ll dig this week’s drabble.
But, before we dive into the 100 words of awesome, I’m going to share my platform with some other folks because sharing is caring, y’all.
Behold!
Acid and Ozymandias by J.E. Park!
Tangled In The Web by Jeff Stanger!
Don’t forget that I have stuff too!
Y’all should go check out my website to see all the goodies (especially SlideShow Cinema). I think you’ll like what you find.
Now, on with the show!
Cheers!

Crazy Voices
By
Jake Bible
“Hold up!”
Nick waved his arms until the backhoe operator lifted the bucket out of the hole.
“Kill the engine!”
The roar of the machine died instantly.
Nick listened.
“What ya got, boss?” Lupe asked, her latest toothpick only shreds between her lips.
“I think we found it,” Nick said as he peered into the darkness. “You hear that? The voices?”
“Yep,” Lupe replied. “Crazy voices.”
“The urn is close.”
“It wants me to kill you.”
Nick glanced over at Lupe.
She spit the splinters out and smiled. “I ain’t gonna.”
“Thanks,” Nick replied. “Now… Let’s go silence some voices.”
