Well, hey there!
Yeah, yeah, I know it’s been a couple of weeks (or more?) but I assure you there are reasons. Not gonna explain the reasons, just gonna assure you that there are some. Do with that what you will.
Good news is that this week I DID make a Drabble Grab! What’s a Drabble Grab? It’s a screen grab of me writing tonight’s drabble in real time. Seriously. No prep. No concept beforehand. Just me and a blank page and my mind yelling, “GO! GO, MOTHERFUCKER! WRITE!”
My mind is loud.
Click the pic and see how the sausage is made. (The sausage is a lie…)
Anyhoo… How are you doing? No, seriously. Feel free to comment and let me know. Or feel free to ask a question, if you’re in the mood.
Or none of the above! Just skip on down and read some awesome microfiction!
Speaking of…
Let’s get to tonight’s drabble, shall we?
We shall!

New Reality
By
Jake Bible
Homer wriggled his way through the throng.
No one even glanced at him despite the fact he accidentally bumped more than a few body parts that were usually off limits.
It took him ten minutes to go sixteen feet.
Finally, he was through. Still, no one glanced at him.
The train arrived.
No one glanced.
He boarded. Empty.
No one glanced.
He grabbed a seat, ready to leave the nightmare.
The train began to pull away.
Everyone glanced.
They sprinted.
They attacked.
Homer hid his eyes with his hands.
It was all a person could do in the new reality.
