The rabbits sat around the campfire, their eyes on the embers and sparks.

“Tell us a story, Jonesy,” one of the rabbits said.

Jonesy, the eldest of the rabbits, scratched his gray chin and wrinkled his nose.

“Not in the mood,” he said after several minutes of silence.

The others frowned and gave each other looks.

“What mood you in, Jonesy?” Miguel, the largest of the rabbits asked.

“Killing mood,” Jonesy said.

“You got someone in mind?”

“The dog.”

Migeul nodded.

The others nodded with him.

“Good,” Miguel said and stood up, his sawed-off shotgun in hand. “Let’s do this.”
