Gonna get right down to business because I’ve got words to write and stuffs to do.
Of course, by the time you read this, I’ll have those words written and that stuff done. It’s like time travel!

The crowd disperses, leaving a trail of trash and spent energy in their wake as everyone heads for the amphitheater’s exit.
“Great show,” I say.
My date doesn’t respond.
“What was your favorite song?” I ask.
Still no response.
Then I realize this chick isn’t my date.
“Oh, shit, sorry,” I say and back off.
I see the merch table and don’t recognize the band on all the t-shirts.
“Who’s Phish?” I ask a passerby. He ignores me. “Where’s the Dead?”
Then I smell the rot, the decay.
I smell me.
“Oh, right.” I laugh. “I’m the dead… I forgot…”
