In his eleven years of life, Keshawn had never seen anyone so tall before.

“Are you a giant?” the boy asked.

The tall being shook its amorphous head.

“You sure?”

The tall being nodded.

“Oh, so you are a giant.”

The tall being sighed. Or screeched. It was hard to tell.

Keshawn winced. “Do you have asthma too?”

The tall being shook its head again.

“I do. It’s no fun.”

The boy gripped the doorknob.

“Well…I got school in the morning. Goodnight.”

Keshawn closed the closet door.

“He was nice,” he said sleepily as he shuffled back to bed.
